Hip Kitty Jazz & Fondue Hip Kitty is a jewel in Claremont! Conveniently located about a mile north of the 10 Fwy. north of Arrow Hwy. and just west of Indian Hill Blvd., this venue which opened in May 2007 was a well-kept secret that is now “out of the bag.” Situated in The Packing House (which also houses numerous eateries and shops), Hip Kitty's high ceilings and very spacious atmosphere with tasteful decor offer a very comfortable dining and listening experience to the customer. The club is now in full swing with jazz entertainment Wednesday through Saturday with many noted artists, and a 6th night (Tuesday) starting in January featuring solo pianists. The specialty menu item is fondues, and they come in many varieties; a full bar offers your choice of beer, wine or cocktails. There is no cover or minimum, and the staff and owner Nancy are so warm and hospitable. Parking is convenient in a structure next to the club. Those who visit Hip Kitty are very likely to come again - and again!...
