Downtown Burbank’s 9th season of Come Out & Dance concerts kick off on Thursday, July 5 with music and dancing on the AMC Walkway at San Fernando Boulevard and Palm Avenue. Dance fans can sharpen their moves with free lessons by skilled instructors Francisco and Stacey of the California Ballroom Teachers Academy starting at 6:00 P.M.

Then at 7:00 P.M. everybody gets footloose with live music from Southern California’s most danceable swing and salsa bands. Whether fans of lindy or boogaloo, rumba or cumbia, Come Out & Dance is a dance lover’s dream come true!

July’s Rockin’ Rhythms
July 5 - Captain Cardiac and the Coronaries
Captain Cardiac and the Coronaries have been one of the country's premier 1950's-1960's rock and roll shows, and are now celebrating their 40th Anniversary Tour. Their high voltage performances featuring Motown, British Invasion, doo-wop, rockabilly and surf have been enjoyed by audiences all over the world. www.captaincardiac.com

July 12 - Cold Duck
In 1969, trumpet player / vocalist Jose Cuadra assembled a group of musicians to form an eight-piece band known today as Cold Duck. They've been rocking ever since as a premier live act with excellent musicianship and groovin' rhythms. www.coldduck.com

July 19 - Steve Lucky and the Rhumba Bums featuring Miss Carmen Getit
Steve Lucky and his band bring an intense energy and personal magnetism to the stage with highly danceable vintage jazz, rhythm & blues and swing. Based in San Francisco, the Rhumba Bums have delighted audiences around the world including the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, Lincoln Center in Manhattan and as the house band at the Derby in Hollywood. www.luckylounge.com

July 26 - The Wiseguys Big Band Machine

August’s Sizzlin’ Salsa
August 2 - Orquesta Charangoa

August 9 - Son Mayor
Son Mayor is one of the most popular and sought-after Latin bands in L.A. Their vintage and contemporary Cuban sound captivates music lovers, and fills the souls of those who love to dance. August 16 – La Sirena y Orquesta Mar De Ashé

August 23 - Ronnie Gutierrez Band featuring Leslie Paula
A versatile and talented percussionist, Gutierrez has performed on The Tonight Show and tours regularly with Dave Koz. August 30 - Louie Cruz Beltran
