About

Ladysmith Black Mambazo – dubbed “South African Cultural Ambassadors to the World” by Nelson Mandela – has an illustrious history going back over five decades. The a capella group formed in the early '60s won so many singing competitions that they were retired from competition. Today, over fifty albums later, audiences are still enthralled by their uplifting, melodic style of African music. Paul Simon featured them on his Graceland album and produced their first US release, the Grammy winning Shaka Zulu. Their new album, Songs of Peace & Love for Kids & Parents Around The World is due out this year.
