Four-time GRAMMY® nominated pianist and composer Gerald Clayton searches for honest expression in every note he plays, developing musical narratives that unfold with harmonic curiosity and critical awareness. Having studied with piano icon Billy Childs and NEA Jazz Master Kenny Barron, Clayton was runner up in the 2006 Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Piano Competition. Arriving at the Bach just off the April 21, 2017 release of his latest album, Tributary Tales, the Trio will feature tracks from the album and other favorites.
